Bollywood Intensive

About the Event
The Bollywood Intensive is for beginners as well as for those who already practice Indian dance and want to have this immersive experience.
In addition to the classes, the choreographies learned in the intensive will be presented by the students in an event with guests (for those who dream of performing, with costumes, the time has come). The event is none other than Diwali, one of the best known Indian celebrations!
The proposal is to bring a complete experience to those who love bollywood and bhangra and want to enter this "world" through dance, being able to experience different dance languages in the same event.
How Will It Work:
3 Classes Lasting 2 Hours Each:
- 1 Bollywood with Bhangra Class with teacher Disha Malani
- 1 Classic Bollywood Class with teacher Amelize Mattos
- 1 Bollywood Devotional Class with teacher Ursula Corrêa
Bonus 1: Intensive students will learn the chorus of a modern bollywood choreo to participate in the final choreo along with all the dancers who will perform at Diwali Feels Like India.
3 General Rehearsals
- 2 studio rehearsals with all the dancers who will perform at Diwali
- 1 on-site rehearsal (on the day of the event)
Bonus 2: Anyone who purchases the intensive by August 31st will receive an email with a link to buy the Diwali ticket at a R$30 discount. Remember that the intensive ticket does not include a ticket for Diwali. Buy your ticket through the exclusive link for intensive students to get discount for the Diwali event.
Ps: It is not mandatory to perform, the student can just take all the classes and be able to buy the ticket for the event at a discount.
Teachers
Started dancing at age 5 with Ballet and in hers teens she studied jazz. At 19 she started learning Bollywood, with teacher Iara Ananda. At 20 she continued her studies with teacher Gyaneshree Karahe, in addition to Bollywood, she learned Giddha and Kathak from Gyaneshree.
In addition to Indian dances, Disha loves to explore different dance styles. She has practiced Hip Hop, Waaking, House, Dancehall and Jazz Funk.
In 2018 she created her brand "Feels Like India" and started teaching Bollywood and Bhangra classes.
She did a postgraduate degree in Dance, Art and Education, studied online for a year with Bhangra Empire, qualified with DRT, was part of the Namaste India group and today continues to perform regularly with her group Feels Like Índia.
